Jean Steffen regularly advises both large and small private equity houses.
He is recognised for assisting German-speaking clients in connection with initial public offerings and listings of ordinary shares in Luxembourg and he is also very active in worldwide restructuring of major international key players. One example is the assistance of a world's leading diversified manufacturer in a large scale European sales company reorganisation.
Jean also practices tax law, focusing on domestic and international transactional taxation (for listed companies and private equity funds) with a particular expertise on corporate tax and tax structuring for clients involved in mergers and acquisitions, disposals or restructurings
Jean is visiting Lecturer, Université de Bourgogne, Dijon, France, ICHEC Brussels, and member of the CODEJU (Comité des Juristes).
