Master of Laws or an equivalent first degree in law degree received, or reasonably expected to be received before the CUA LL.M degree is conferred, from a university outside the United States or Canada (Students in their final year of Polish law studies may commence the LL.M. prior to completion of their magister degree. The Polish law school thesis defense must take place before commencement of the final component of the program.)

Proficiency in English demonstrated by submission of a satisfactory TOEFL score (paper-based TOEFL: 587, computer-based: 240, internet-based: 94) or equivalent certification, e.g., Cambridge certificates, prior degree in an English-speaking program.
