Application Process
Step 1. Create and complete an online application. TU College of Law requires that all applicants apply online through the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). Application Fee Waivers are available by clicking on the blue button below.
Step 2. Prepare and attach supplemental documents to the online application. TU College of Law requires that all applicants submit these documents online via LSAC's Credit Assembly Service.
- Official transcript(s) - from all undergraduate and postgraduate institutions attended. This must include proof of a degree that permits the applicant to practice law in a country outside of the US, such as an LLB degree, if they do not hold a JD degree.
- English Assessment- If the applicant's first language is not English, he/she must provide proof of English proficiency by submitting one of the following: an official TOEFL score report (paper-based 570 minimum, internet-based 90 minimum) or IELTS 6.5 or higher
- Personal statement - 800 words discussing the applicant's experience and professional goals and specific reasons for wanting to pursue the specific LLM program. This personal statement must be entirely the applicant's own work and in English.
- Legal Writing Sample (brief, law review article, memorandum or other persuasive or scholarly work). Must be the applicant's own work and submitted in English
- Two Letters of Recommendation
- Resume or curriculum vitae
- Confirmation of Financial Resources financial resources must be attested to in order to receive a student visa to study in the United States. Fill out and attach this completed form.
