Application Deadlines:

 There are no set deadlines for LL.M. in Employment Law applications.  Review of applications and admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis.


Application Methods:

There are three methods for applying to the LL.M. in Employment Law program.

-Option 1: Apply online.  Please complete and submit the form in one sitting as the form cannot be saved.

-Option 2: Apply offline by downloading an application. Submit your application by mail, email or fax to LL.M. Admissions.

-Option 3: Apply via LSAC (Law School Admissions Council). 

 

Application Materials Checklist:

·       Application form


·       CV/ Resume


·       A personal statement addressing why you feel you will be able to successfully complete the LL.M. Program.


·       Official Law School Transcript


·       Two Letters of Recommendation.  One of which must be from a professional reference.


·       $50 Application Fee

Candidates for the LL.M. in American Legal Studies must meet the following criteria:

1. Possess the Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the foreign-educated lawyer’s home country;


2.  Possess a degree equivalent to the J.D. degree whether at undergraduate or graduate level, in the lawyer’s home country;


3.  Demonstrate a record of accomplishment in previous education predictive of academic success in response to the special demands of the LL.M. in American Legal Studies program; and


4. Be admitted to the practice of law by the relevant authorities in the lawyer’s home country.


Candidates will be granted admission to the LL.M. program if their application reflects a history of educational and work experience that demonstrates a high likelihood that the candidate will be successful in graduate level study.
