Program

Distance Education

Traditional classroom studies can be combined with videoconferencing at Cooley's three campuses. Through the use of innovative technology, IP classes may also be delivered through a synchronous web-based platform with real-time, fully interactive video and audio.

Online IP Option

The Graduate Program in Intellectual Property Law offers a web-based academic option. The Online IP Option provides on-the-go professionals unrivaled flexibility. Just like the traditional classroom track, the Online IP option is designed to ensure the scholarly study of intellectual property law and interaction with the Cooley academic community.

The web-based courses are faculty-led and utilize an online course management system. Students participate in classes in a synchronous online format, giving the student a live, virtual classroom experience. Using a webcam, headset, and microphone, students can see and hear the professor and the professor can interact with students during the session. Classes are held on nights and weekends in Eastern Standard Time (EST). The student must be on his or her computer during class time.
