General Master of Laws Program (LL.M.)

Admission

To apply for any of our LL.M. programs you will be considered for admission when the Graduate Programs Office receives all of the following:

  • Completed application form
  • Official law school transcript
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
  • Resume
  •  Personal statement
  •  Letter of recommendation
  •  $60.00 non-refundable application fee, payable to Widener University
  • TOEFL score (if native language is not English)

Non U.S. Citizens need to provide:
 

  • Affidavit of support
  • Original current bank statement showing sufficient resources to cover tuition and living expenses

Program

Widener’s General LL.M. program is designed to allow students the option of selecting from several concentrations. The program is open to international students who have completed a first degree in law from a non-U.S. law school that fulfills the academic requirements for the practice of law in that country, as well as graduates of American Juris Doctor programs. This degree is ideal for attorneys seeking in-depth training in an area of law in which they currently practice or for those planning to develop a new area of practice. Students can build their General LL.M. Program from one of the following four concentrations:
